Last Minute Things to do in Melbourne

Phillip Island other last minute things.

We did a quick trip to Phillip Island during our last week in Australia with no work. We rented a cheap little hyundai, but the friends we were staying with graciously let us use their convertible Mazda Miata. This car was fast and way more fun then the rental.

Thanks John and Caroline for parting with "Mia" and driving that rental. I'm sure it makes you appreciate your car even more when you try driving something else.

Phillip Island is known for the penguins and we were not allowed to take pictures but we recommend this if you get the chance. There were hundreds of penguins and the walk right by you. Now the pictures…

Big Day Out Music Festival, Australia

Henry received two free tickets to the Big Day Out music festival from work. It is similar to Coachella in that there are many stages and numerous music groups to go and watch, however Big Day Out only lasts one day. We were lucky enough to see Childish Gambino, Nicky Romero, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Killers, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Lots of people, lots of good music, lots of food and drinks to go around, plus a handful of festival rides. Good times had by all!

Camelbak stations rock!

No lack of tofu in this tofurger.

Quit staring. Why don't you take a picture it lasts longer.
